| • HAUNTED CHANGI,
a horror movie about a local film crew's documention of
the notoriously haunted Old Changi Hospital in Singapore,
is released in Singapore cinemas and is the #1 Most
Watched movie at the box office during it's opening
weekend, beating out all the Hollywood movies for most
tickets sold. Debates rage on the movie's Facebook page
and through online forums about the film. Throughout November and December, HAUNTED CHANGI heads to Malaysia and Indonesia, spooking more fans in Southeast Asia. The DVD will include the full length film, bonus scenes and two short films - the documentary THE MITRE SPELL and the short horror film STAY. The U.S. version of the DVD will be made available soon. infamous Mitre Hotel in Singapore, was voted the audience
favorite for First Take in February 2008. The film
will be screened again on 1st December 8pm for The Best of
First Take program. THE MITRE SPELL is also expected to be made available to the public on DVD as a special feature of the upcoming A MONTH OF HUNGRY GHOSTS DVD, which is being released in Asia by Scorpio East in early 2009. |
